Marvel Super Hero Squad Online – Free Browser MMO For Windows and Mac

Marvel Super Hero Squad Online is a f2p Browser MMO for Windows and Mac that uses the Unity Engine. The game is geared towards kids but as an adult I’m enjoying the simplicity but fun gameplay of it. There are a variety of missions to choose from in which you can level up your heroes. There are lots of heroes of choose from though a lot of them you have to buy with gold which doesn’t come quickly unless you pay for the subscription services or buy the gold directly. I’ve only been playing a few days and I already have around seven heroes and I play casually so it is good enough for me. Check out the video for an idea on how it plays!

Super Monday Night Combat – Free DOTA like Turret Defense FPS Game

Super Monday Night Combat is a currently in beta game that will be free to play on steam!  You can sign up for the beta in hopes of getting an invite which took my friends and I only a few days to receive.  The gameplay is much like a DOTA / League Of Legends game but FPS style.  Each class has three unique skills that can be leveled up.  Also the classes vary a lot and include tanks, supports, assassins, snipers, and more!  Currently only the 5v5 teamfight mode is available but I’m hoping the wave defense coop mode from Monday Night Combat is put into Super Monday Night Combat!  Check out some video action!

World of Warplanes is the flight combat MMO action game set in the Golden Age of military aviation. The game continues the armored warfare theme marked in the highly-acclaimed World of Tanks and will throw players into a never-ending tussle for air dominance.

Based purely on aircraft setting, World of Warplanes will allow players to build full-scale careers of virtual pilots offering machines of several key eras, staring from 1930’s with biplanes and up to Korean War jet fighters that led the way to modern air forces.

League Of Legends Newbie Guide

League Of Legends is a fun and fast paced RTS RPG blend based off of DOTA.  The game has a bit of a learning curve so to help those players starting I’ve decided to write a newbie guide to hopefully help.

Where to start:

League Of Legends features a Coop Vs AI mode which is great for testing new champions.  Each week there are 10 free champions so try them all until you find some you like!  I recommend moving over to PvP though as soon as possible as fighting the AI is much different from fighting real people.

There are lots of guides on how to play and build the champions.  Solomid.net, mobafire.com and leaguecraft.com all have lots of guides on the champions.  Don’t just look at the build and expect to immediately own, read the whole guide!  Also don’t just read one guide but several on the same champion as there are different play styles and different tips!  Also you can watch the videos on youtube of the champions in action and see how other people play them.  You don’t need to follow the guide and builds to the letter, do what works for you and try out different combinations!

Read the League Of Legends Item Page and learn what is available.  Also it might be worthwhile to make a custom game just for yourself to browse through the store and familiarize yourself with it.
